Sadio Mane, was born on the 10th day of April 1992 in Sedhiou, Senegal. Mane grew up in a small village known as Bambali located deep within Southern Senegal. His parents who were in need had way more kids than they were able to care for and so Mane was left to stay with his Uncle.
He played street football, but he could not attend school as the family could not afford to send his son to school. He played football on the dirt streets of his small village each morning when it was time to get up, and also at night when the sun set.
